Those who complete the course will be added to the DoE’s Energy-Skilled Search Engine. Google has launched an initiative in collaboration with the DoE to connect consumers with contractors that employ “Energy-Skilled” technicians. Under this initiative, Google will display an Energy Skilled badge on contractors’ Business Profiles if at least one technician has earned a credential recognized as “Energy Skilled” by the DoE.
